Promepla’s Tuohy Borst Adapters are designed to provide a reliable, leak-proof seal during catheter or fiber insertion in minimally invasive procedures. Manufactured entirely in-house – from mould design to injection moulding and assembly – these single-use adapters ensure high quality and full traceability.
Made of polycarbonate with a thermoplastic elastomer seal, Promepla’s Tuohy Borst Adapters allow smooth device manipulation while preventing fluid backflow. Available with or without a side port, they support the simultaneous insertion of instruments and infusion of fluids such as saline.
