These alternatives to PVC provide a wide range of technical possibilities, including various Shore hardness levels and surface finishes (transparency, flexibility, tactile feel, etc.).

For example, some TPEs can be chemically solvent-bonded, opening up new opportunities for assembly and medical device design.
